Woman steals $1.5 million worth of chicken wings

Court records accuse Liddell of ordering more than 11,000 cases of chicken wings from the school district’s food provider and then picking up the order in a district cargo van.
“The food was never brought to the school or provided to the students,” reads the proffer.

11,000 cases? Did she sell them? Freeze them? Have a helluva cookout? I used to work at a wing place, we had 2 walk ins where we stored cases of wings. I can’t imagine how she stored these.

Was this all in one order, or on several occasions over the more than a decade that she worked there? Even then, what was she doing with 11000 cases? These aren't small cases, $136 each. You're not just having a weekend BBQ with that. Even a wing restaurant is going to have a hard time going through that amount, that's 30 cases a day, 7 days a week, for a year. With some research for a case in that range, that's 30lbs a case, or 330000 lbs total. That's several truck loads, that she hauled off in only a van? Something seems off about this.
