I hope it wasn't difficult at all.

Hold your kids accountable or someone else will.

That’s one way to celebrate Women’s History month! See? They can do anything men can do! Including crime!

So young. That's so sad. Probably don't even realize they've fricked their whole lives up, and for what? A few hours joyriding or committing some other crimes?

They need the max. This isn't carjacking and the victim accidentally died. They fricking dragged her and stomped on her to get her out of the moving car. Just sickening.

Obviously but it doesn’t take away from the fact that their kids will now spend the rest of their lives in jail. That’s difficult for any parent to swallow.

The knowledge that your kid attacked a 73 year old lady, stole her car, dragged her down the block, stomping on her to get her out, and ripped off her arm before leaving her to bleed out would probably make that easy.

I think that would still be murder 2.

But yeah I agree with you.

There's a profound disconnect between actions and consequences for a lot of these kids. I guarantee you it didn't occur to them.

Odd that they will be back on the street by 18? Does anyone really believe they will be tried as adults?

They will be charged as adults with 2nd degree murder, if convicted in LA that is automatic life without parole.

I don't know about this case though. This crime was heinous.

I believe those girls who carjacked and killed that Arab Uber driver in DC were only sentenced to juvenile detention until 21 (they were 14ish)

I hope that doesn’t happen in this case

This is a time for Williams to really make the statement this city needs. This case and the Costco case need to be swift and severe. We have to come down hard to stop this shite. Otherwise, Williams needs to go.

I think he will because he knows the pressure is on him and lots of people are watching. His office needs to make a statement and this is a prime opportunity to do it. Hope he seizes it.

I agree 1000% ... Only way to deter violent crimes ... Eye for an Eye, Tooth for a Tooth.

Drag these kids down the same crime scene streets, hanging on to a car door, sever-off their arm, and let them bleed to death. Film the entire event and show it to ALL the kids in school. I have no doubt that will make juveniles think twice before committing a violent crime.

The current penal system and sentencing is NOT working. Criminals & juveniles do NOT fear the police, being arrested, or spending more than 2 days in jail.

I’m genuinely curious what they were feeling after ripping off her arm

I wonder if it was a “oh shite, our lives are over” or “Jesus Christ im a fricking monster”

wrong... eye for an eye tooth for a tooth, still leaves the victim not whole. Gotta go Comanche or Mafia style... take down their loved ones too... then them
