Watching golf on TV is boring enough. Why the hell would someone wanna watch live golf anyway? It's like watching flies frick.
This doesn’t make any sense. Are you saying sporting events are more boring when watched live?

Good luck.

Guarantee on the ticket there is a statement regarding liability and flying objects.

I find it incredibly boring to watch because they pretty much always put the ball where they want to.

You picked a perfect thread to stand on your high horse about this.

Not sure about the Ryder cup, but most tournament tickets have a disclaimer about this that you agree to when you purchase. But since it's Europe, who cares.

No one’s doubting it didn’t hurt but come on. It’d be no different if she was at a baseball game and a fly ball hit her in the face. She knew the risks and chose to be there anyway

I'm torn........ FEDEX has the deep pockets and a reason to settle.... But Furyk would definitely just lay there and take it, so.....

Tons of facts we don’t know. For example, what are the rules/laws of serving alcohol there? Was she overserved? Were there people allowed to be intoxicated who prevented her from moving freely?

Aside from that, big organizations settle out of court often to avoid bad PR.

Bottom line is that she’s probably suing because she can get money legally. So what?

I have no doubt she will cash in on this. I was just pointing out the lack of personal responsibility in our sue-happy culture

Bruh, this was in France. The idea that she will sue and have any chance is laughable.

She may get a settlement just because Koepka feels bad and his insurance is willing to put it to bed. But this wasn't in the USA and even if it was, she's an idiot.

Again there was either 4 balls or 8 balls being played all day on the damn golf course at a time. How hard is it to look out for those 8 shots? Not very.
