it is my concern when they buy all the high end crap and then cry poor and whine they have to file bankruptcy and want money/sympathy.

So she was actually racially profiled and you have an issue with her? I don't understand.

The point, which many in this thread have missed, is that the woman paid for these luxury items partly with cash and the rest on her business credit card.
That is the issue. One, never mix business transactions with personal transactions and two, it is obvious she couldn't afford the entire purchase with cash.
I can't think of any logical benefit of paying for these items with a credit card. Pricing for Louis is set by the manufacturer so you don't have to worry about price protection guarantee. And accumulating points for miles only benefits those who pay off their balance monthly, which may not be the case here.

Did you leave out the part of the article that the cashier called the police because the card declined, and the woman claims she has a receipt? If the woman did have a receipt, why didn't she post it all over social media for this news story to show? The woman claims she paid from a business acct and cash.
No one from a store would call the police unless a check/card didn't clear
Did you read the article? She showed the receipt to the news team.

And yet...none of this is your business.

Perhaps she had some equity that needed to be paid back to herself.

I thought I'd get to the end and of the post and read that she actually did commit fraud and possibly shot up the joint.
Not that she mixed business and cash transactions and should have known about price protection.

You are sad. I feel sorry for you that your life revolves around finding these things on the internet, usually race related just like LSUTANGERINE, then run and post it on a message board. It's absolutely pathetic.

I don't understand what the initial issue was prompting the store to call the police.

I looked back and I didn't see any mention of race in the subject line or post.
But I have seen it mentioned by you and a couple of others.
It's a shame that all you see is color, which is doing yourself a disservice after you felt compelled to tell me that you feel sorry for me, because you thought this was a race related thread.

Nowhere in the article does it say the cashier called the police.

Is that what your expectations are? She showed the newsteam her receipt and obviously nothing came of it because she wasn’t arrested.

The store had the woman’s items in their possession. Furthermore since when did stores call the police for declined cards?
