I avoid the city at all costs but my son had a basketball tournament today right by the dome. Needless to say, I payed attention to everybody before parking then before we got in the car to leave. It's a damn shame that we or anybody has to be like that. frick that place.

Crazy thing is you called 911 and they answered.

Newell Normand on WWL Radio said on his show the other morning that when the NOPD changes shifts at times some officers are as much as 30 calls behind when they start. This does not surprise me at all.

Try again on location because St. Peters, around Poydras Street...does not exit.

But S Peters and Poydras does. Over by Harrahs or whatever we call it these days.

A tourist might not realize the difference.

It's St. Peter, the street that Pat O's is on. It runs perpendicular to the river. I believe he is referring to South Peters, which runs parallel to the river.

St. Charles street. Basically where Lafayette Square is. Where it happened, just looked it up on maps.

I’m not being an arse, but how do you know it was a carjacking and not a domestic or something? You didn’t describe the typical carjacking scenario. I mean, why was the woman on the hood?

Tell me wy?

She was sitting cross legged on the hood of the Ford
Filing down her nails with an emery board.

St. Peter’s and Poydras don’t intersect. They run parallel and are several blocks apart.

I think they intersect between Ruth’s Chris and Windsor Court.

Thanks for the geography lesson, but I’m a native and I don’t even know the streets like the back of my hand.

Dude witnessed a crazy, but believable event and people are literally nitpicking it for no reason.

Yes and probably the only way to distinguish the two is to confuse them since they nearly intersect.

So nobody's posted the news story of this visible crime that happened in a busy downtown area with multiple eye witnesses?

Out of all the carjackings that happen in Nola, how many of them end in an immediate arrest? Calling BS simply bc that is the most unbelievable part of this story.

All of the "didn't happen, don't believe it" people are clinging desperately to their vision of NOLA that is long gone.

It's pathetic.
