There we have it folks...... How are SWB and MP going to handle this one knowing their own Ilk have their hands on the triggers!

This is disgusting!

Based on this, it would have been around 65 degrees that day at that time. We had nice weather last week for early September.

Broome and Paul are going to attack Kiran Chawla for leaking that there are witnesses.

This story finna be buried with the quickness. And honestly I’m surprised the BR establishment hasn’t done a character assassination or run Kiran out of town.

You obviously don't check the weather . It wasn't 90 degrees at 2 am. It was in the 60's.

More than likely, these two were seen that night by friends, family, maybe even an enemy that would say, "hey, these two guys were dressed like that and live in that area."

Either they are guilty of the murders or they were there when it happened and could say who did it.

That's not really how it works in these communities. Even enemies keep tight lips on perpetrators of crimes. Nobody that knows the perps is going to come forward with information. Their best chance is eye witnesses and/or surveillance video from nearby businesses (if there are any in this area).

the first reaction I had to the article is a giant, "frick, that could've been me" moment for the witness. why her and not the witness and the witness' friend?

Because the element that usually perpetuates these kinds of crimes want soft targets. Two college guys in a car will put up much more of a fight than a lone college girl. That is what makes it the most sickening to me. Even if it was a lone dude on the other side of the train they would have still skipped over the two together in the car.

same way they've been handling it when it was a black victim. Police Chief ignores it. Mayor calls for a weekend of peace and has a BBQ. Baton Rudge is beyond hope or saving.

Just stopping by to chime in and say I don’t think i’ve ever seen an issue be discussed here with nearly 100% support one way or another and yet still nothing will be done about this. Br is fricked

Could you provide a link? Google results show up with all kinds of different values, so it's hard to gauge the correct temp.

Although, most tend to agree that it was humid a frick on that night. So, anything above 65 degrees, and a hoodie starts becoming very uncomfortable really quick.

His story is sickening. This tells you everything you need to know about law enforcement in Baton Rouge.

The next morning, I saw that someone had been found dead by the tracks. That’s when I realized that’s exactly the car I saw and the time and the gunshots I heard.”

Good thing they did the alternate route thing like the BRPD suggested on the WAFB article that cannot be found anymore.

Makes you wonder if this was an attempted abduction rather than a mere robbery or carjacking.
