I think things start to fall apart by May and would utterly disintegrate by June.
Personally, just depends on how bad things are.

How old are you going to be?

I think even April 30 is a stretch. Seriously, if we haven't flattened the curve and bought the necessary time by then we need to say frick it and let this thing burn through. We can't kill the country over this, and that is what will happen if we go much longer.

I think the damage has already been done

And what will you be doing after April 30th that you can’t do today?

It would be nice if some kind of protests start if these shutdowns extended beyond May 1st. I fully expect local politicians to keep extending

Most people have already reached their limit. Everywhere I went was packed today. Traffic back to normal

My concern is once they lift the restrictions and they let people go back to daily life that they will try to shut it all down again once a few infections arise somewhere.
The flattening the curve does not mean end sooner. Flattening the curve stretches this whole ordeal out while at the same time try to reduce stress on hospital and supplies.
In the short term outlook, I understand. In the long term outlook, it can't keep running this route for months. The economy would be absolutely shredded and will take years to recover.

I predict the general sentiment towards any shut down will greatly turn within the next month and any local politician who continues to extend will not be a local politician for long.

All the unemployed in th service industry are already there, though I suspect that could change if that gubment money starts pouring in. You've got a lot of paycheck to paycheck people going on week four without work.

There are plenty of Facebook hero’s wanting to drag this thing on until the bitter end.
That bitter end is going to be a lot of those people getting laid off, but this has an inevitable end. What we are doing right now is extremely unsustainable.
