Thos was the decade where logic and reason took a backseat to raw emotion. History books will look back on this as the beginning of the downfall of western civilization as we have known it.

Please tell me society has something better than this decade be known as the wimpy society where everyone's feelings get hurt at the drop of a hat.

That's pretty much it. Tranny open bathroom policies, the end of the vagina/dick category, political activism within the DOJ, and everything is racist! Oh, and anti-fascists doing fascist things. It's been a dandy.

the decade does not end in a few months, it ends at the end of 2020. Just like 2000 was not the new millennium but the last year of the old one.

Was there a year zero?

don't know how that worked

seems like 0 is a starting point, not a span of time

I assume there was a 0 BC and 0 AD.

ETA: I guess 0 BC doesn’t make sense but there’s no way it went straight from 1 to 1.

A serial decade in the Anno Domini[a] year numbering system is a period from a year which ends on the digit 1 to the following year which is a multiple of ten; for example, the period from 1961 to 1970 was the 7th decade of the 20th century (or the 197th decade), and the period from 2001 to 2010 was the 1st decade of the 21st century (or the 201st decade).[5]
