Disney is absolutely making a ton of money right now. Covid boosted D+ And all other streaming services. The parks are seeing a boost as people go on their rescheduled vacations. The MCU is strong… but regardless of all of that, the stock has been in steady decline since it’s peak in March 2021… why do you think that is?

I live an hour from Disney. We went this weekend and it was packed as usual. Not sure what hill you think they're dying on. They just aren't bothered by the existence of gay people . DeSantis is a blowhard just like Trump. Focus hard on hot button issues that really don't matter, turn people against other people even though its of no consequence to themselves. Nothing to see there, just low-IQ shitty humans

There is a difference between "Being bothered by the existence of gay people" and having it shoved in you and your kids face everytime you turn a corner..............................

Progressives have dominated the culture war for 60 years. They have overtaken industries like Hollywood, the media, the universities. Now with control of those industries, they push radical policy, masquerading as entities that Americans once loved and valued. Like Disney.

Conservatives have ignored the culture war for years, up until the Trump era. I didn't vote for Trump the first time around, but he woke a lot of people up to the value of fighting for our culture. Fiscal policy and legislation won't make a lick of difference if this country loses its core values and principles.

His time has passed and it is time to hand off the baton to someone more polished like DeSantis who can connect with a broader audience, but conservatives who think our focus should be on policy will continue to lose ground. Policy is important, yes, but for the first time I think conservatives are gaining back ground for radical progressives who have gone unchecked for quite a few years.
