I’ll be honest, I had no idea who he was. I just read that we were closing in on him and he killed himself before the US forces could kill him (did he have a bomb strapped to him? I assume he felt as if since he was going down, he was going to try to take as many people with him as possible?)
I’m not familiar with the structure of ISIS. Do they have a #2 to take his place?

SFOD-D generally doesn't have any of the SEAL Team Six attention whoring. The issues with SEAL Team Six goes all the way back to Dick Marcinko. It has never been the "fly under the radar" unit that SFOD-D has always been. Even on Bragg they always kept to themselves, they lived and worked in their own little world.

Delta Force is the most badass military unit on earth. They are the elite of the elite. They only recruit twice per year and exclusively from two sources - U.S. Army Green Berets and U.S. Navy SEALs.

Might be, and I’m completely guessing here, that the SEALs have more talkers because SEALs don’t require previous military experience. Delta is completely made up of veterans and guys who have been in the shite. Hell even the tier 2 groups (Green Berets/Rangers) Delta select from require their guys to be in the shite before selection.

Wrong. Many, if not most, of Delta are from the Ranger Battalions, followed by Army SF and ISA. There are even Army infantry in Delta.

Green Berets don't need previous military experience either. You can enlist to be an 18X but you'll probably wash out and spend 5-6 years as a cook.
