I'm starting to think this "storm" won't be shite. Won't be nearly as bad as last Friday.

Louisiana State Police
With the possibility of snow, rain and sleet in parts of the state tonight through Wednesday, DOTD is preparing to deal with winter weather and icy road conditions.
State Police urges motorists not to drive during hazardous conditions unless it is a necessity. If you must please travel during this event please use extreme caution.

DOTD and parish officials across the state plan to pretreat some portions of the interstates and major corridors with sand, salt, and de-icing aggregates. As usual State Police will constantly monitor roadways and post road closures (if any) as they occur.

You should be okay. I hope you don't live too far from airport. Even with temps above freezing on Friday, the interstates in certain areas were still a nightmare.

Temps keep getting revised down for Wednesday. I will say prob mid 30's. Besides, it takes a long time for ice and snow to melt. As stated before here, snow is good insulation. We will have ice, with a layer of snow on top. If it comes down like most are predicting it could take awhile for it all to go away.
