I dont know why, I dont work for DOTD and you have a valid point. Maybe they do and it gets lost in government red tape. No idea.
I didnt say we are informed ahead of time about unplanned closures. Those are usually on the fly live notifications.

It is very much the business of paramedics to know what roads and highways are open and closed to get to you when needed, and get you to a hospital.:banghead:
Police, fire, and EMS all need to know this info as it happens, and DOTD does inform all agencies statewide of all planned and unplanned closures.
Usually each parish also notifies agencies of their own closures as well.
With that point made, I do not see them closing any roads or highways preemptively.

Do not find it at collegefootballstore.com either, although they have more selection than many and was one of few sites I have not already checked... thanks anyway @TupeloTiger
