gotcha. yeah the 36 hr looks better, and i wasn't sure about the ratios. We'll all just have to wait and see!

Thats from the 0-24 hr timeframe. The weather on this run is in the 24-36 hr timeframe.

For those that dont know: 1 inch of liquid precip can have a total break down of the following ratios:

5-10" of snow
1-3" of sleet
.25-1" of freezing rain

the conversion is true, but keep in mind it still depends on temperatures and when they line up with the moisture, as to who will get what and how much.. the total precip maps can be deceiving.

The details cannot be sorted out at that model resolution. Looks like BR is in the .5-1" of liquid range. Any accumulation of the various types are possible.
