On a serious note, 12z GFS is running now. I will post graphics as I get them.

So is LSU going to wait till 5 am tomorrow to announce they are canceling school? Just in time for me to have to wake up at 6 just in case they don't.

Everybody getting stocked up on the essentials? Looks like Lafayette may get significant ice, so I'm headed to the grocery soon for some nonperishables.

From what I gather here, it's a pretty safe bet that class will be cancelled. That said, I'd still wake up early to double check, because assumptions can be bad.

Looks like barely any precipitation

I have jerky, protein bars, and a 12 pack of coke. I'm ready for this storm.

Models don't do well with accumulation. It is all about timing. The ingredients are there for this to be a wicked storm.

nope, that translates to about 4-6 inches of snow, or .5-1.5 inches of ice, depending on timing and upper air temps, etc.

I got that update thinking they were already going to have rescheduled Friday's class. Oh well
I would assume LSU will cancel earlier than they did last week as well given how bad it was that day
