Stop using logic. The Academy had a black man make a joke about a black woman losing her hair so another black man could slap the first on live TV, curse him out, and overshadow Venus Williams, Questlove, and his own Oscar win because they're woke and want more people to watch

Oh, the whole #Oscar’sTooWhite thing…
I know they wanted the Oscars to be blacker, but. Maybe the new hashtag should be #Okay,MaybeNotThatBlack

Chris Rock could have maybe not been in on it.
I'll add some more fuel to this fire, that was the weakest, most pussified, limp wristed bitch slap in the history of bitch slaps, and Smith was supposed to have been a decent athlete growing up?

In any case, I can't believe there are 45 pages on tOT of people arguing back and forth whether it's real or not.
When can we officially start calling this incident SlapGate

Sure I have. Your head is so far up your arse you must have missed it though.

You've still yet to make a real argument for it being fake other than because you say so.

Keep looking like a fool by contradicting yourself.
I’ll keep making arguments that you can’t follow up with.

Not to mention Jada publicly said she wanted 2Pac over Will, because Pac was tougher and more of a man. Looks like Will is trying to show he can be "hard" as well.
Maybe she’ll let him clean up after the bull next time

It's no a contradiction just because you say it is.

I can't fight the delusion in your mind, so you may have accidentally stumbled upon a point.

if a thread on here gets past 3-4 pages it usually devolves into a dick measuring couple of posters sniping at each other and the original subject just sort of slips away

I'm one of the few here who has made a point and supplied a motive.
Are you illiterate too?

A motive that makes zero sense for the events you believe to be faked for a purpose.

I blame Covid.
Covid has people lose their fricking minds.
here we have a 40+ page thread arguing over whether this slap at the oscars was real or staged.

Just speculating, but I can see Smith getting worked up enough to stand up and go, and then start thinking about it as he's walking up there on his biggest night about to hit a comedian for making a joke, a somewhat pulling it back. When he walked back he saw his wife again and Rock called him out for what he'd just done, and he started screaming again from his seat.
FWIW, I didn't watch any of it last night and when I saw threads about it my first reaction was that it was obviously fake. Then I watched the unedited version. If Smith was acting, it was better than anything he's ever done on screen, and he did it live.
Also my guess, Chris Rock had a director screaming in his ear piece to move on and not go back at Smith right there. I can't imagine a stand up of his caliber not absolutely destroying both Smith and The Oscars for getting up on stage and assaulting his because of a bit.

You didn't even know there was one two seconds ago. You still don't.
Would you like me to repeat it for you, with pictures?
