I could say that Alec Baldwin never actually shot someone and it was all just a publicity stunt because his movie was going to flop. The "husband" and witnesses were all just actors paid to play along. Also explains why he never got arrested.

Sorry we’re not all retarded like yourself. If the Oscars were truly interested in the ratings and not virtue signaling, they’d hire Chris to host the whole award show and not just present a single category. You’re a fricking moron if you think Will and Chris would agree to this.
What do you think Venus and Serena will do if they found out Will agreed to this beforehand? I’d imagine they’d be more pissed (and probably are) than Beyoncé and Jay Z were at Kanye when he embarrassed them at the MTV Music Video Awards, especially given how much of a less prestigious award that is compared to the Oscars.
