Can't drive from your house, cops pull you over if you are driving and aren't a trucker, etc. Seems like the more authoritarian governors will take that step as deaths peak sometime in the next few weeks.

For certain professions that's an impossibility.

Does anyone really think that these increasingly draconian steps are going to make a big difference at this point? Some reasonable steps are appropriate, but at some point people are going to have to accept that we must get on with our lives. The notion that people can be made to cower in their homes for months on end is crazy.

As long as I have vodka, sex, food, internet and can “work” from home I’m cool with it

All they really need to do is close Lowe’s, Home Depot, wal mart, Costco and sam’s and it would flatten the rest of the curve

Ugh I agree with all but the sex. Gf is isolated elsewhere for me. Otherwise, I concur.

Or make Home Depot and Lowes open to professionals only- who can provide proof of said profession. Not for Suzy who needs some flowers.

Yeah, I'm not seeing that....it is not feasible either statewide or nationwide

What about the rest of us that need things like light bulbs, weed eater string, air filters, door knobs, paint, etc?

I watched the documentary Contagion and it never came to that.

At this point, what the hell is the point of it?
