When has Racetrack not been a hotbed of trash, thugs, and homelessness. It’s almost as of that is their target market. Every Racetrack I’ve ever been to has my head on a swivel.

There are a lot of homeless people that the city is putting in the hotels on Sherwood/I-12.

IMO they are hurting neighborhoods with that crap.

Depends on location. Plus, it is a gas station. Don't know of many that don't have seedy people pass through.

BRPD doesn't investigate anything. They are merely a response unit. They do not do any active investigation. If you want a crime solved, YOU are your best chance.

A few years back, my wife was driving on the interstate and someone threw something through her passenger window, shattered the glass. My wife got the license plate number and car description and gave it to the police. Those lazy pieces of shite did NOTHING. Thankfully, my kids weren't in the child seat or they would have been covered in glass.

BRPD ONLY will investigate a murder. They will do nothing to prevent murders, or investigate minor crimes. You are the one responsible for that, sad to say.

We did.

This situation ended with BRPD detectives not wanting to show us the tape and claiming they couldn't see anything since it was too dark.

Note: it was 7:30am in the summer when this happened. They closed the case.

There is no point of suing anyone. It was going to be a lost cause of time and money. Everyone ended up ok so I'm thankful for that. Sometimes you just have to accept life for what it is and move on, however bad it is or how bad you think it is. Good luck Baton Rouge folks.

Sorry for the attack. But more alarming are the idiots that come out of the woodwork to comment stupidly. I just dont get the humor and sarcasm.
