How did you fail her as a husband, you didn’t hit her with the pipe. And weird to say not to have the back turned at the pump. I mean I guess in this instance it would have helped but in general that seems like a paranoid way to go through life.

You’ll want to approach from the north, on the west side of the road, pull onto the shoulder so it will be easier to cut off her escape to home base.

Oh shite, I'm in law enforcement and this has been a very entertaining thread. Please try to keep your phone recording your conversation with this woman somewhere hidden in your vehicle, even if you just get audio.
Don't do anything to aggravate the situation or make her think she's in trouble, but let her know that you have "sources" that confirmed she was there. Be vague, but confident. Make her think you're more than just an average Joe, or she won't talk.
Just don't start out with "were you there when this happened?" kind of questions, make her believe you know for a FACT she was there. It's that simple, and she'll sell out her partner if she thinks it's a wide-ranging conspiracy
