I would sue racetrack for creating an unsafe premises. They’ll likely settle quickly but you could probably get 50K or so.

I work in criminal investigations in the Baton Rouge area and I can tell you from first hand experience Racetrack Corporate is a hassle to deal with when trying to get video.
If there is a playback in the store, film the display screen with your phone. Your likely only going to get an overall race, gender, height and build of the suspect. However, you will get distinct clothing. Pay attention to shoes, they are often common denominators when linking attacks.
My office was mobilized this week to help out with site security at a local shelter. If no one will help you at BRPD at the Divisions you have been directed to, call The People at 389-3845 early next week.
Me and the boys will sink our teeth into it.
