Ours goes up first weekend after Halloween. We really enjoy the decorations and want to get the most out of it.

If any visitors don’t like it, they can leave

No. I do a real tree like an actual celebrator and it won’t make it that long.

A good tree should be covered in ornaments your kids made in 1st grade and vacation bible school.

Every year, my wife literally starts talking about putting it up at the end of October. I’m usually able to stall long enough so that it goes up right after Thanksgiving.

OK MeeMaw. Nothing about a real tree makes you anymore a celebrator. Beyond stupid. Have fun dealing with your old school needle dropping Charlie Brown fire hazard. Five minutes and I have an incredible 9’ tree up and lit. Looks and smells like a real tree. You wouldn’t know the difference unless I told you it was artificial. It’s not 1950 anymore.

I was about to ask if having the christmas decorations up made it easier to get in her pants.

Nope. No Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving in this house. I enjoy having fall type decorations for Thanksgiving dinner.

We also must kill a tree to truly be festive.

I imagine most that have their tree up now, will have it down by lunch on 26 December. I like to keep it up until the Epiphany, you know, the 12 days of Christmas.

Also, love the annual burn.
