Great dog. Smart. Lots of energy especially as a puppy.

Get a pit or get off the porch where the big dogs roam

Have a labradoodle. Much more lab than poodle. Great dog. Still young and extremely hyper, but fantastic with young kids.

Try not having a Christmas or anniversary present for her and let us know how that works out for you

I have a 4 mo old female after having a Boykin for 12 years. Took a year and a half off before agreeing to it

She doesn’t shed, and has been easier than the Boykin thus far. Smart dog. Kennels easily and urinates outside with little trouble. Still working on the poo side, but it’s mostly our laziness contributing to her shitting in the house.

So far, I’m happy with the decision

Me too. Dog is awesome and sleeps in my 9 yr olds bed. She’s a sweetheart, doesn’t shed and smart as a whip.

They’re great they look a lot like Sir Winston. So cute - I always want to give them schnuggums when I see them out and about

My parents is a huge dumb oaf. I have had golden retrievers all my life and they always play fetch and catch a ball. This golden doodle you toss it a ball or bone and it hits it in the face and falls to the ground, I’m embarrassed for my parents in that regard. I toss the dog treats routinely just to laugh at it do this. Never seen a dog just let a treat hit it in the face. Won’t fetch at all either.

I’m sure you can get them smaller or mini but my parents’ is 75 lbs and thinks it’s 30 lbs. super friendly but dumb thing just plows kids over running up to them.

Maybe this is typical poodle people say they are smart, but this dog is dumb compared to my golden’s.

This.

One of the little Füts has one (a male now 3 y.o., it just now calmed down).

Wonderful animal.
