She won't be getting it for long. Temporary orders. When I hammer her in the final she will be getting significantly less.

She wasn't smart.

Yeah that is what prompted me dropping that on him. At the time I was working 60 hours a week between 2 jobs and doing ALL of the housework, bill paying, grocery shopping, etc. I was mentally and physically exhausted and he made a comment about the house being a lil messy that day and I snapped. I had been holding in my frustrations for weeks and had wanted to sit him down and talk with him rationally about how I felt taken advantage of and that I needed him to help out more, his comment just set me off.

My wife makes double what I do.

Zero fricks.

I did put her through grad school though, so I have some entitlement to the process.

Neither of us are at 6 figures so this is very fricking far from a brag.

Should have gotten an engineering degree instead of physics.

Yea, I can see that. My situation is a little different, in that my wife makes $0. Not like she's working and makes less, she's a full-time student in professional school.

Don't feel bad nurse. I've dropped the "I'm the only one working" line. Of course she was spending a third more than I was with no young kids to raise.

We'd be in our 20's making around 350k+. I'm willing to consider that F-You money. It may not be Bill Gates type of F-You money, but I'm willing to live with calling it that

Not married (and granted, we've argued maybe 5 times in 3 years), but yeah... we are hugely against dropping bombs/name calling/etc.

No thanks. It's under appreciated, but that doesn't mean it wasn't the best choice. In hindsight it's 100% the right degree for undergrad. I should have gotten another undergrad in ME instead of the MS in EE, but oh well.
