Again, I have to keep reminding people that the National Anthem was bgun at sporting events when we entered WWI and the desired effect was stoking patriotism enough to get citizens to rally around the war effort.

To think that kneeling during the anthem is disrespectful ignores that the sacrifices of servicemen/women guarantees the right to protest. I don't mind if folks don't like the protests, but calling them in-American is some kinda irony
