BRG cafeteria is a great hack and I go there often for lunch during work. Stupid cheap and good food

I would say when the base choice is one, the scale is hard to judge.

In Birmingham, I’ve stayed at Grand View, St Vincent’s and Princeton.

Grand View food for patients and the public is good. The cafeteria has a grill, room food, pizza made every day, salad bar and daily cooking station.

Plus, they bring in one or two food trucks.

St Vincent’s, until UAB took over, followed the Grand View model, down to food trucks as well.

Princeton was hell on earth. I threatened to get dressed, steal an umbrella, walk across the street and go to McDonalds across the street. I went with Door Dash, then waited at the lobby instead.

I wouldn’t punish my dog with the trash they were pushing in the rooms. At Princeton.

Quite the opposite...Hospital dietitians have a heavy hand on food served to patients as many have diet restrictions

The nutritionists are just creating those diets from the available menu where every item tastes horrible though.

The food a hospital has in its cafeteria has nothing to do with what they serve patients. OLOL cafeteria is OK, the patients get slop.
