I couldn’t imagine divorcing a woman then have to still support her.

Fortunately, there’s something called a prenup.

Not sure it’s even that common anymore. None of my divorced friends pay or receive alimony.

Imagine a woman divorcing a man and that man still having to support her.

"I'm a strong, independent woman who is better suited to run this country than the sorry men who currently do!"

"My ex-husband needs to support my lifestyle for the rest of my life!"

These two irreconcilable statements are both core beliefs of a significant portion of American women.

Are you a woman? How do you know what most women think?

Yup but when the ship is sinking women will not hesitate to reduce themselves on the same level as children to get in the safety boat.

Women and minorities don’t want equality. They want preferential treatment

Didn't even have to look at your username to know your gender.

Flip it. I know a man who wasn't close to the breadwinner but a great dad. His bid for a bit of relief even short term was thrown out.

You deserve what you get when you get a divorce and break a home

Has to be a troll and if not, suck it. You have no clue of the inequities of divorce. We get fricked simply because we wear pants.

The whole boat thing has always struck me as pure insanity. Why should an eighty year old woman get a spot on the safety boat. I’m throwing the old broad overboard every time. It’a a dog eat dog world and oldmanbeasley is getting his

Scruffy always saw the lifeboat situation as an extension of the biological difference between the sexes.

Men need women to procreate.

Women can, generally, carry only one child at a time, thus making them the rate limiting factor.

One man can reproduce with multiple women.

One woman can reproduce once every ~1 year with one man.

Scruffy always saw it as a simulation of the apocalypse scenario, but he does agree that it should extend to children and women of breeding age.

It is another reason as to why women generally were kept out of the armed forces as well.

At least that is Scruffy’s crazy view.
