Why don't we view China like we did the USSR?

The broader timeline is available here but here are some of the main parts of their Chinavirus mishandling/coverup:
Side note: while their efforts helped to curtail the disease once they took it seriously, a recent study came out suggesting that 95% of cases could have been avoided if the Chinese government had acted 3 weeks sooner. LINK
None of this is new information on its face, but I'm not sure why there isn't more outrage that tens of thousands of people around the world will die and untold severe economic damage was done because of the Chinese government's ineptitude. This has echoes of Chernobyl yet far worse, and they are a totalitarian regime that commits human rights violations, but people are melty when the president calls it the Chinese virus. frick China IMO.

Dec. 10: First case.
Dec. 27: Wuhan health officials are told that a new coronavirus is causing the illness.
Dec. 30: Ai Fen, a top director at Wuhan Central Hospital, posts information on WeChat about the new virus. She was reprimanded for doing so and told not to spread information about it.
Jan. 14: WHO announces Chinese authorities have seen "no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel coronavirus."
Jan. 15: The patient who becomes the first confirmed U.S. case leaves Wuhan and arrives in the U.S., carrying the coronavirus.
Jan. 18: Annual Wuhan Lunar New Year banquet. Tens of thousands of people gathered for a potluck.

I don't know the answer, but I don't think we had as many people who sold out and were beholden to the USSR

Racial stereotypes based on the noble Asian martial arts master in karate movies.

You could say the same about the US government. Actually, our government knew about the threat in January and did nothing until march. Even then, certain US leaders were saying this was a hoax and then saying it would all blow over by Easter.

Because China was smart enough to buy the Bushes, Clintons and Obamas.

The U.S. was not ground zero for the disease, so your point makes no sense.

Based on recent data, Easter is not far off.

A large amount of our society is brainwashed by the media and they coddle and protect China

Money. In my mind, they are less trustworthy. At least we knew where we stood with the Russians.
