The basic white middle (or maybe upper middle) class family vacation starter pack: 30a, Disney, Colorado ski trip. Refuse to travel anywhere else (maybe Tennessee mountain area)

The reason it’s funny is because “30a” as a concept only exists in the minds of people that vacation there and have the sticker on their Yukon Denali that’s financed for 72 months.
Everyone knows Fort Walton Beach and has for a long time but now it’s....”30a”.
I live in FL and I didn’t know what 30a was until the OT told me. It’s a status symbol created by a marketing firm exclusively for travel ball moms from BFE upland southern states.

Sadly, even though the OT plays at being rich, 80% of the OT doesn’t have $400.00 in their checking account for an emergency much less a couple or three grand for a 30A condo, or beach house.
By the way, about 5 years ago the house across from Elon Musk’s beach house on 30A was for sale, am Italian Villa for $1.9 million. Just a bunch of wannabe’s I’m sure!

Not sure what your point is. I live at the beach and I know people that live on the sand that don’t have an extra $400 lying around. So to pretend that a vacation to the panhandle is a status symbol, is pretty funny to me.

The hate is mostly because of the bumper stickers and that people brag about vacationing on the Florida panhandle like its vacationing in the Maldives or something.
