Why does the OT hate 30a

I think the hatred is for the status symboling that occurs from people who have the 30a stickers.

The stickers and the type of person that has then on back of their SUV window.

They don’t hate 30A

They hate the people that think a 30A vacation is the equivalent of going to the French Riviera.

I think it’s more of a hate for people who think they are cultured by going on two out of state trips a year, one to 30a and one to Disney, if they are feeling frisky they may go to Breckinridge. This was posted while on Miramar beach

I love living near 30A...Sept through Feb and April through May. But Spring break and the summer are rough. Some of the tourists whose $$$ we need to support the area tend to leave their minds at home and others allow their teens/tweens to run wild.

It’s more about the people who get the stickers to show that they vacation there as a status symbol. And it’s not really hatred, more that’s it kind of funny because it’s just the gulf coast not like you’re going to the Virgin Islands

Same reason we hate on Paul Allen for bragging about his peasant vacations in the Hamptons. It's always so sad when poor people try to pretend they're not poor.
