I think they are great trucks but they have a few things going against them.

A. They were late to the game. Hard to unseat Ford Chevy and Ram.
B. Their nearest competitor is the Tundra and they won't win that battle just on name recognition.
C. It's not an attractive truck and is outdated.

Ultimately, Titan's are good trucks but their rivals are just better.

The titan like the frontiers were ahead of the others brands around 05/06. But since has produced the same truck year after year. The titan did redesign things and few years ago and the frontier is still the same truck

I just had a transmission go out in a 2014 Sentra at only 120K, and my Wives Rogue started making the same sounds mine made before going out at 85k. We traded both of them in two weeks ago. Nissan can suck it...

Though my Father In Laws Frontier has had no issues at all.

One of the few complaints I had. Truck ran great and had almost zero mechanical issues for ten years, but that damn paint job started fricking up around the fifth year

I have had a 2006, 2017 and now a 2020 pro 4x
Beat the bejesus out of the 06 rebuilding stuff after katrina.
100k warranty is legit, they found a leak I didn't know about. 2 day repair and the gave me an armada to go to Texas for work. Only unscheduled maintenance.
2020 drive train has tons of power.
Mileage is fair but that's my fault w a heavy foot.
Love the truck and service after the sale is top notch.
For 5 years I don't have worry about my truck getting me to and from.

It's all about marketing man and rear ends. When they 1st came out the rear differential was turrible.

It's ugly. If they make it look like the new Frontier, they would have something.

It has a negative approach angle, or at least look like it do.

I have had for one for a couple of years and love it

I domt have a titan. I do have an entire titan drivetrain waiting to be swapped into my SUV when I have 36 hours to be left alone.

Still driving a previously used 08 V8 Titan. Tow Boat or RV every weekend and now up to 230k miles. Only major repair was rear end. Mileage not great but very dependable truck. Owned Nissan Hardbody 4x4, Frontier & Xterra before. Probably get a F150 next.
