My parents are from Epps(poverty point area). The people around their including family sound very similar to her. I think the accent is real. I’m more surprised it hasn’t faded some since living in Nashville for several years.

Whoever she's signed with has done an excellent job getting her a huge push. They put her in everything for a good while.
She dresses terribly but I wouldn't turn her down. Happy to see someone from Louisiana be successful but I hope to Jesus her style doesn't spread.

My mom, sister, and niece bumped into her at Dolly Wood over the weekend. My niece is a big fan so of course she asked to take a picture with her, and my mom said that Lainey couldn't have been more kind to them.
