can’t stand millennials and make fun of them for the same reasons. Gen Z has some pretty amazing talent and aren’t whiny bitches like millennials.
I really believe there is a big difference between a millennial born in the 80s vs one born in the 90s. The dipshit ones always seem to be born in the 90s.

Umm I was born in the 80s, my parents aren’t gen x, they are boomers.
A lot of millennials have boomer parents.
There were gen xers that hadn’t hit puberty yet when I was born. They couldn’t have all been our parents.

Crazy considering the first iPhone didn’t come out until 2007.

In 2001 some people had giant Nokia's. Before that it was your rich uncle with a bag phone or Zack Morris.

Boomer is the only generation defined with a name by the census.
The rest of these names and definitions comes from Madison Avenue ad agencies and McKinsey and the like. We’ve all fallen into their segmentation scheme to be grouped and marketed to accordingly.

My father is a gen xer born in 1969 and that’s who most of the “boomer” mentality seems to be aimed at.

Boomer is a term applied to anyone older than genZ. Maybe get out more.

Yes.
The gulf between someone born in 81, with preteen years in the grunge era and who was likely amazed by dial up in high school - and someone who was born in 96 and lived entirely in a very-online culture with many of the rough edges long gone by their youth - is huge.

I'm a Xennial (born in that end of X, beginning of Millennial range).

I'm the youngest boomer ('64). Come at me.

Sorry Daddy made you cut the grass and eat all of your veggies before leaving the table.

1980-1994 are Generation X
Wrong GenX 1969-1980...We're the ones who pretty much raised ourselves after our mothers joined the work force. We ruined our kids by giving them everything that they asked for because we never had that. But, we're also, the Generation not to be fricked with cause we like to stay on the down low but will frick you up in a heartbeat when pushed too far

Fun fact, millennials don’t dislike Boomers because they were their parents. The boomers give plenty more reasons to dislike them than bad parenting.

I think 9/11 was the line of demarcation vs how old you were when it happened.
If you were 13-14 or older on that day, chances are your world view and attitude are way more like gen X than your typical millennial who was in 2nd grade or some shite and don’t know the world to be any different than post 9/11 and the shite show the world has devolved into since then.
Personally I was a junior in HS on 9/11 - born ‘85. I have wayyyy more in common with people 10-15 years older vs even 5-6 younger.

Another coping millennial who has to draw an artificial line to make it look like he is a cool kid

My correlations (every single one of them in that post) were all things that came into prominence when they were in Elementary School / Middle School
Kids born in 2001 would be starting 1st grade right as the iPhone is released, changed their school trajectory completely
