The key is finding a normal name, that isn't too common. Unique, classic but not weird.

Oh there is a study is there?
Yes, several. You should look at them.

I am sure the study accounted for the fact Jaedyn was likely born to trashy parents while John was born to successful parents who hated him but loved to work
Most of the studies actually look at it from the subconscious bias of employers/HR hiring methods.

I would consider Luke more "generic" than Lucas, regardless of what the 'of the moment popular' stats might say.

Why don't you ask yourself? It appears while my school did not teach the proper use of there/their, your school did not teach how to use a period at the end of a sentence.
You should really proofread when you do a shitty grammar troll on someone
Calls someone out for not using proper punctuation at the end of a sentence, proceeds to not use proper punctuation at the end of a sentence.
Bold.

Think there is a happy medium
Like Brevin is a good name but spelling it "Brevyn" throws up lower class vibes to me

I am just telling him if he wants to grammar bomb someone, he might want to use proper grammar himself
Its a message board, a grammar bomb is as lazy as naming your kid John

Nah, those are both awful.

It's got to be a REAL name. I'm also of the belief that it should probably have some sort of familial connection or significance. I'm not big on just pulling a kid's name out of your arse because you like it.
I agree here. The 'new spellings" of names to be unique is the current killer. Give your child a good story of why he was given the name. Simple way to have a good opening easy conversation as one leads with his name. Dont give him a name that people will judge quickly, and not want to be intrigued enough to ask.
Both my names are older. One is "nerdy" and the other is "cool". I go by my middle name...the "cool" one. Rolls off the tongue easier I found. Here's a "spinoff thread" idea for yall who like to that attention...thoughts on people using their middle name over first name. Does someone who has your middle name you go by as their first name should they act like they are cooler cause of it?? Ha. I met a late teen with my middle name, and when he found out it wasnt my first name he acted like I was a "poser" that gave myself a cool nickname. Just stared at him as I didnt know how to react as I dont meet many with my name. Ha.

Not using a period is common and acceptable. Look at your OP
Swapping there/their makes you a dummy

Hey, I’m just letting you know that YOU should check over your work before submitting it when calling someone else out.
Also, normal names ftw. Bonus points for Roman numerals.

There is nothing wrong with the name John. No prospective employer is going to quietly think that someone is of a low-class upbringing because their name is John.

Another one....why do people give their boys known unisexed names? And why do people feel they need to unisex good boy names?? Drives me nuts, and a good reason to stick to solid old school traditional names like John and Mark. you know that the kid isnt going to be sharing the name with other girls in his class.
