Ha nope. Or followers. Which is what I find most dog lovers to be. Guess you’ve got that nailed down though sport

My X wife said this too many times:
"You like the damned dog more than me"
Is it that obvious, plus he's loyal unlike you.

I guess if you are a fragile, needy person who needs something to love you and need you, knock yourself out. Me? Nah I’m good
This makes me sad for you
The unconditional love from a pet is one of the greatest joys in life

Congrats on getting an animal with the mental equivalency of a 2 year old to follow you around ace.

I mean, I’m really really weird and OCD in a lot of ways and I definitely want my room and my bed to be the cleanest place. If I’m dating a chick, I want to do it over at her place.

Dog spelled backward is god. If you don’t have dog in your life, then you’re incomplete.

I’m not dating / sleeping with someone who doesn’t feel the same way about animals as I do
There are many things I can get past, pets in not one of them

I don’t trust people that don’t like dogs.
Something is really wrong with you if you don’t like the best animal companion a human can ever have.

I don't dislike dogs but I will tolerate them. I don't think I will ever own one again in my life since I had already owned the greatest one during my childhood which was a German Shepherd. It was absolutely heartbreaking for me to say goodbye to her and I am not sure that I could ever replace her hence why I have never attempted to have another dog.
Does that make me a bad person?

My dog doesn’t shed , it has fine human like hair kept short. She’s sleeping under my bed right now. Honestly would take her under my bed more than 95% of the needy, chirpy women I know in my bed.

That’s not the same as people that don’t like dogs at all.

It depends, my wife and I have talked with dog people and they seem to be off put that we won't consider having a "family dog" and that we are content with cats.

Absolutely not. And maybe a dog is out there waiting for you to rescue it.

These days, many people prefer dogs as companions more than they do people - it’s just easier to have a relationship with a dog.

We travel and are out of the house far too much to give a dog a proper home at this time.
Side note: I was absolutely infuriated with my SIL who decided to get a German Shepherd while she was attending college and kept the dog in a 300 sq ft upstairs apartment. She would normally be gone for 12+ hours a day while attending classes and working. /rant

Not at all & you will never replace her
The joy of having a pet has allowed me to open my heart & home to dogs that I took in knowing they would not be here long
I was able to let them know love & kindness & that they were not alone when they passed
