I love being a parent actually. It’s exhausting but I’m very grateful to have them around. I guess that’s how people feel about dogs. I still think it’s gross to let them sleep in your bed though

I think it's gross that parents have to wipe their kid's arse after they shite themselves.

It's why I'm working on perfecting the Baby Bidet (TM)

You sound like a real cool person to invite over to hang out. I bet you are constantly being invited to shin digs!

Dogs are great. Loved mine growing up. Obsessed with dogs people are weird. Dogs are their children, etc...pit bulls are evil and should be eradicated.

It is gross. But it’s necessary. Not like sharing your bed with an animal

My dad had 3 kids and has never changed a diaper.

I thought I'd be grossed out by it but for some reason I wasn't at all.

I’ve had dogs all my life, I love dogs but do not want to sleep with them, nor do I want them on the furniture. I spend good money for beds for them.

It’s possible to have a dog, train a dog, play with a dog, love a dog without buying it outfits, French kissing it, and bringing it into your bedroom.

I would think they would at least change a diaper every once in a while

Our current dog is our son's. Hes an only child and was very upset after our first dog died. He and new dog entertain the hell out of each other. They make up all kinds of crazy games. Also dog is extremely protective and sleeps with him, which makes him feel safe at night.

I know it's a pain for some people, but making my son feel comfortable in his own home is more important than folks dealing with a little barking when they knock at the door.

Dog people are weird. Especially the millennials who insist on calling them "fur babies." Like no ... your dog is not equivalent to a human child.

Dogs inside the house is a ridiculous and UNSANITARY concept.

You could be a good owner and bathe your dog.

He had 7 grandkids too and wouldn't watch any of them before they were potty trained. He's just old school like that I guess. He told me, I've made it this long without changing a diaper, I'm not starting now.

Steps 1 thru 8 sound like par for the course at my home (wife’s pets).

But let me share a story about a former coworker who wore a patch over one eye...

Come to find out he had a real big dog which he shared his bed with. Well, one night the damn beast had a nightmare and starting pawing wildly. The dude lost an eye when his dog gouged it out with an errant paw to the face.

Don’t let dogs sleep in bed with you. You are defenseless.
