That's sad.
Agreed. He clearly wasn't watching the road, and thus should be put to death.

The dog? The dog was already put to death. But I agree. The dog should have been watching the road.

The older I get the more viscerally angry I get at that shite. Ironically, when it's a teenager I don't care as much, but adults using our neighborhood as autobahn/cut through makes me old-man-get-off-my-lawn insane.

I was referring to the driver.

By going 10 mile over the speed limit in a subdivision?

Why do people insist on driving slow?

I live in a middle class subdivision with lots of school age children and it amazes me how fast people insist on driving especially around sharp curves often going fast enough they go into the other lane. Do people not even think how dangerous this is with so many kids playing? Anyone here guilty of this? Are you really in that big of a hurry to risk running over a child?
I wonder if people actually think about how little time they actually save by speeding everywhere. A couple of minutes? Their lives are that important though I guess.
I especially love the idiots that speed pass me and end up at the same stop light.

Their time and the time of others has no value to them.

The stop signs at the intersection of Congress and Jamestown are apparently just a suggestion to 90% of drivers.
It’s like an intersection of a figure 8 race track sometimes.

Because we aren't idiots and realize excessive speeding, riding people's arse, weaving in and out of traffic etc on surface streets save you a few minutes tops.

According to Kingbob it was the dog’s fault

I'm still waiting for him to give me a logical reason to drive ten miles over the limit in a subdivision.

Is driving 40 in a 30 or 35 in a 25 such a bad thing? Hell, that’s not even unsafe. I thought we were talking about people who drive fast through neighborhoods.
Posted on 10/31/18 at 5:15 pm to Undertow
We are talking about subdivisions .
Posted on 10/31/18 at 5:21 pm to mouton
40 in a 30 is not fast.
There’s a difference between driving a little over the speed limit and zooming down a subdivision/neighborhood street.

I get consistently annoyed at the cops in my parent’s neighborhood that will pull someone over for not stopping the full three seconds at a stop sign at 5 in the morning but don’t blink twice at assholes gunning it through the neighborhood. And they have an elementary school at the back of the neighborhood.
