If you have so much money, why are you sleeping in your car?

Usually people that tell you how much money they have, really don’t have that much…

Maybe you don't understand how to enjoy nature.

Fishing camping, and hunting are not your thing

Do people hate the Subaru? Everyone I know who has one says it is reliable and gets decent mileage.

I briefly owned a Subaru because they're great snow vehicles

I know they come with a stigma and think it's kinda funny honestly but I didn't have any complaints with the vehicle

and for liberals

This is dumb & I know you trolling. Subaru isn’t political. I’ve had 3 outbacks as company vehicles (2018, 21, 23) & they’ve all been great for the most part, besides minor annoyances like glitchy infotainment & stupid stop/start. I’m currently in a ‘25 Toyota RAV4 hybrid & it’s been stellar so far.

160K+ Outbacks sold per year.
180K+ Crosstrek sold

Seems like Subaru is insanely popular.

I don’t hate the brand, it’s just funny how true the lesbian stereotype is. I think their AWD is fantastic.

When Shreveport had snowmageddon a few years ago, I couldn't get out of my driveway for a week. A neighbor had to take me in his side-by-side to a relative in assisted living to deliver some meds.

Meanwhile, the manager of the assisted living facility had a little Subaru AWD car, and she used it to shuttle employees back and forth to work with no issues.

Subaru is on my list if I move to a colder, more hilly/mountainous area.

I just assume the owner is a douchey leftist. I see many Subarus plastered with preachy bumper stickers plastered on them.

We had an 2014 Outback for 8 years. It was very reliable, but when we lived in Pittsburgh in the mountains and had to navigate that area’s notoriously short, old school on ramps….we found that the flat four engine was a little weak and had to be rev’d very high to move the car. As a consequence it burned some oil, which is common for flat fours under stress.

That oil burn stopped when we moved to Chicago, which was flatter and had more modern highways that didn’t require 0-60 acceleration immediately.

Overall I have no issues with Subaru. They are safe AF. With a set of winter tires, they are unbeatable in even severe winter weather. The new 2026 Outbacks are hideous though.

No bells and whistles, but if you have to drive in the snow you wont find anything better and very reliable.

During that time, I had to take my Wife to work at a skilled nursing /rehab that she worked at in South Shreveport. It took awhile but The Outback had no problems traversing that.

It does suck for them. Those cross whatevers are cool. They need to hire a great marketing company and put out some serious ads to help them against the stigma

Just rolled over 182k in my 9 year old Outback. It has served me well and was a great car to drive around in for an outside sales job that took me across Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. Eventually had to replace some suspension stuff and that notorious oil leak but not too big of a deal there.
