Why do people get so pissed about the same things being posted?

The search function on td is probably one of worst on the internet.

Because we are all supposed to be online 24/7 and if you dare ask a question that someone else has asked, then you are fricked. And by fricked I mean downvoted.

I posted something about Walmart last year. Someone who had already posted the same thing melted and went ballistic. Turned out the idiot didn't know how to spell Walmart. The idiotic moron spelled it Wal Marks so of course it didn't come up in a search. What a fricking Maroon.
But yeah if you aren't on the board 24/7 and read every damn thread you will sometimes piss off the lifers that are on here 24/7 and read every thread.
Just take it with a smile and a sense of pride that you are not a message board lifer like some that live here.

A lot of posters on this board are looking for a reason to jump your case, it’s a mad dash to post “Germans” or some snarky response.
Then you have people who deserve it like the dude who just posted a thread asking if anyone has watched “the Pharmacist”

I usually don't give a shite but it's funny when something relatively big happens earlier in the day with multiple threads discussing said thing and someone makes a "BREAKING NEWS" thread at like 9 pm.
The other favorite is the "searched and didn't see anything" guy who misses the 2 threads still on the first page about the topic.

I agree. Sometimes when i see a ts getting railed for not using the sf ill try and search the topic and nothing comes up. Some people are just dicks.

I pretty much don't care, but it is pretty embarrassing when those two things happen.
Kind of like when Kobe Bryant died and someone late that night or the next day makes a thread say, "Brealing News: Kobe Bryant has died." It's pretty pathetic.
