I just came to say I drive a F150. I usually drive around 75 mph which means I spend most of my time in the RIGHT lane. I slow down if there is traffic in the left lane and wait till it's clear to move over and pass. When I do move into the left lane I mash the gas a little harder and get up to 80-85 to get around vehicles I'm passing. Then I move back to the right lane and drop back down to 75.

I guess you've never seen the dually F350s then, right? It's DEFINITELY creeping into the heavy duty trucks--half tons are almost quaint these days...it's what you buy your mistress, as it were.

It's an ego thing. The bigger the truck, the more important they must be and have to be somewhere and don't have time for your little vehicle.

JUST LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THE GRILLE!!! GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!! I HAVE A LARGE PEEN.

Not unusual but it really does seem that the ole boy in his lifted truck is always in a hurry. 10 mpg or less to and from work is the reality it seems.

The left lane is for passing. Sounds like you are all up in the way.

My daily driver is a F150. Most of the time I put around pretty slowly. But when the little subaru from California tried to get the drop on me and scoot around us getting on the freeway, I had to put the whip to the 350+ ponies under the hood.

Felt good.

Ps our other car is a subaru.

Don't worry about what I'm driving, Just get out of my way whether I'm in my F150 or the O'lady's Hybrid. 75 in the fast lane, I drive faster than that on the shoulder getting around pricks like you.

"Found the problem. Its not a fast lane, it's a pass lane."

You can also substitute any car with a Texas plate for F150.

Actually, it is passing still within the parameters of the speed limit. I know, it's hard for some to understand logic, and this will make them all angry and emotional. Accleration= distance/time, you dig.

If you drive I-55 South between 5:00 & 6:00 every weekday morning you can see pickup drivers going 90-100mph.

Completely reasonable. The boomer crossover chuds and Subaru lebesians won’t like your logic and ability to adapt to traffic.

Surely they are Z rated.

It isn't the tires you need to be concerned with it is the brakes.

Responses in this post explain exactly why Louisiana has the absolute HIGHEST auto insurance rates in the nation.
And yes pickup drivers are 100% aggressors on every road in Louisiana.
