Most addicts aren't doing it for the high anymore. They do it to keep from being sick. My guess is they have been sick all day and when they finally score, nothing will keep it out of their arm so the sickness will stop. They pump a little extra in to stop the sickness and if its good dope they end up "nodding" with the kids in the backseat. If you have never been around addicts then you wouldn't understand.

Are you stupid? Look, unfortunately I have a family member who is an addict and had pretty much ruined everything in her life.. Its sad to watch. Chances are, she will eventually end up dead or in jail.
During the summer, a guy I grew up with was found in his bed face down with the needle on the floor. He had been dead for some time because he was all swollen up. He started using when we were in HS so he fought it for a long time. He tried to get clean several times and just couldn't do it.
You are asking why do parents do heroin while in a car with kids. You spelled parents wrong, you ended a question with periods instead of question marks.. What kind of question is that? Why do crack heads suck dick for rocks?

My best guess is they prefer to have the kid strapped in the seat so they aren't bothered and the kid stays out of trouble while mom and dad are out of their minds.
