What facts are you talking about?
The overwhelming majority of commercials and media are hetero.
You are looking so hard to be offended, you choose to believe a commercial portraying a hetero couple breaking up as a gay commercial

Every time I see a commercial with a same sex couple, I just picture all the OTers yelling at their TV sets in rage and then beating their sister-wives to relieve the tension from being angry about people who are different than them

What evidence do you have that she decided to become a lesbian all of a sudden?

Eta: I remember it was just a couple of short years ago the OT was littered with articles complaining about the lack of representation of minority groups in commercials. The overwhelming position here was that it was completely ridiculous to give any consideration whatsoever of who was in any commercial.
Now we get about a thread a week whining about the minority of commercials that have mixed race couples and gay couples. Guess I shouldn't really expect any different.

It’s called representation, and until fairly recently minority groups have not been represented much in TV and film. Sure, advertisers could show you another generic white couple who can’t figure out their laundry issues, but now they can show mixed-race and same-sex couples because we found out “muh heritage” will be just fine regardless.
