Women function and make decisions based mostly on emotion. Guys function and make decisions based mostly on logic.

This is true and I’ve seen it first-hand.
One of the more interesting phenomena I’ve observed are “retaliatory” days off.
That’s when one woman will take a sick day, and then her co-worker will take off a few days later because she had to do more work when the first woman had called in sick.

My company is 60/40 women/men, but it's 95% scientists. Drama is extremely rare and is quashed one way or another almost immediately. We are all fiercely protective of our collegial/untroubled work atmosphere.
My last job was constant backbiting and cattiness. It comes from the top and filters down.

This. It all depends on the culture of the office/company. If petty backstabbing catty shite is allowed to happen, it will continue to happen.
That shite gets crushed with a quickness where I work.

weird phenomenon that happens when a bunch of women are around each other a lot, when my daughter(no pics,) played softball with basically the same team for several years, those girls were all on the rag at the same time soon after practices started

This shite is awful, and as a supervisor I have to pretend to care about the BS they complain about....almost all of which could be easily handled by confronting the other woman and having a polite conversation about what is going on.
I do to an extent...but I have had some women work for me and take advantage of that shite. I have some mothers who know this job is a responsibility and make every effort to make accommodations for their kids, and schedule appointments around work hours. I also have had others who take the whole day off at a moment notice once a week because jr. might have the sniffles

But seriously, the women I work with hold grudges and they have a hard time of letting things go. If they don’t like you then they are constantly looking for dirt that complements their choice of not liking you. They take satisfaction in this.

I'm a high school teacher, so mostly women on staff but it's the guys that create most of the drama. The women tend to get bossed around by the administration and don't fight back against the stupid shite they make us do. Everybody gossips
