Don't take it personally...I grew up with the SEC pre the inclusion of USCe and Arky. To this day SC looks like they ought to be in the ACC and Arky should be in the Big 8 to my eyes.

The best hash in SC used to be what many of the volunteer fire departments would prepare and sell on July 4th. I haven't seen one do it in years though some may still. Outside of that, the best hash is the Beacon Drive-In in Spartanburg.

Now question. As I mentioned before I think a lot of these "comfort food" references have a lot to do with what you ate growing up.

I don't disagree with any of these things. But I also think there's a whole hell of a lot of factors that are higher on the list of importance when comparing places.
to each his own. Give me saints & LSU football/our amazing inshore & offshore fishery/duck & deer hunting/LA cookin over anything the SEC East has to offer.
I'd love to move to South Florida and have access to warm weather boating & fishing basically year round but not at the expense of everything listed above
