What I did forget to mention was Lester gave me some tips on how to increase my grip strength. This was probably the most important thing.

So, just hang from the bar as long as you can. Do Farmer's Walks. Anything that would increase your grip strength.

That's funny because I can hang one handed fine but don't have the arm strength to pull up with one arm. So far I can get about halfway up from a dead hang with one arm. Did you do weighteds every day or just a few days a wk?

When I played rugby, all I did was deadlift and squat.

Bench would pack on useless muscle. I never really cared about a big bench press.

Yeah, sorry if that doesn't help. It's just what I did. I don't know. One handed chinups were easy but it was really hard at first to do one handed pullups. Body positioning is so important.

It's all about being frugal. Cost too much to eat. Cost too much to go to the gym. Cost too much to shop in the mens section. Cost too much money to be attractive to the opposite sex.

Skinny is the new fit.

They all have optimal BMI but can't bench, squat or deadlift their own weight.

Yep, this is me as well. I go to the gym 5-6 days a week and eat roughly 3,000 calories a day. I have better muscle definition, but after 3 or 4 months of this routine I may have gained 1lb. Just how I'm wired I guess.

Sounds like an indication to consume 3,500 calories, no? You are still human buddy. Find the sweet spot
