Well most now have applications like apple play. See what I did there? Been using my phone since the original 4. No need to ‘pay up’ and finance that option.

I asked my girlfriend if she could make it to Los Angeles from where we live in Pensacola without gps, and she said no.
You expect her to realize I-10 goes from Pensacola to L.A. continuously?

So you have had a GPS device in your vehicle with you since 2010 time frame. Cool.

Why are you in the glass business then Darryl? The glass business is shite money compared to making millions at a circus sideshow gig with your incredible memory skills

Before GPS, I used to drive around with a Randy-McNally map book of the United States. I also had map books of various states. One of these days I'll get some new ones to keep in the car.
When I first started driving my dad (remote salesman) gave me road atlases of LA, MS, and TX just to keep in the back pocket of my vehicle.
It was fun planning out road trips.

Some shite is just not important to women.
This beggars the question.
As a woman who has driven a lot across this country and in Canada, I can tell you I can and do read maps and it's important.
The worst thing I can do driving is get lost and end up in a part of a city that is not safe. Likewise, I'm frugal and I don't want to waste time or money driving half an hour in a direction that isn't where I want to go.
I do have women friends who are good with directions. I also have one who is a disaster. If she says turn right up ahead, I will do the opposite. I don't understand how she can be consistently wrong but she is with directions. Otherwise she's very intelligent.

Because 'social studies' in school these days does NOT include geography but DOES include gender studies, learning how to protest (even if you have no idea what you're protesting), etc.
This pisses me off. My kids go to "Blue Ribbon" schools and never been tested on 50 states on a map, capitals, cities in LA, parishes, or countries in Europe. All of which I was tested on before high school.
And of course they are completely geographically illiterate. I've considered telling my son no more gas money until he can label the 50 states on a map.

Do you map out the academy stores you steal from?

no idea where Houma or Thibodaux are on the map. She doesn’t know what direction they’re in from Metairie or how to drive there from Metairie.
The last part is a weird thing to be annoyed by. If someone has never been to Houma/Thibodaux, and has no plan to go there, why should they be expected to tell you the exact route to take?

Similar to the retard threads on here lamenting that kids can’t write in cursive anymore. Or balance a damn checkbook.

I don’t understand how did people drive everywhere before digital maps. People must have been lost all the time since nobody could read a map.

How is it in your life that you are able to test this metric with 75% of people you meet? Are you just randomly asking people where things are in relation to where you are?
They know how much money everyone in their life makes, their politics, and their sexual history
