We care because insurance rates are through the roof because of fatties and smokers

And nurses have to turn these obese fkrs every two hours

ETA: I’m not talking abt ppl who are like 50 lbs overweight or whatever. I’m talking abt the 500+ lb ppl.

Same. I would be so disgusted with myself every day.

Why do other people concern themselves with other peoples health and not just worry about their own?

Because it drives up the cost of healthcare for all of us, when ignorant folks who don't take care of themselves show up uninsured to the ER for something that was preventable by not being a moron

90% chance he was recently a fatty and lost a lot of weight. They are the most vehement anti fat crusaders.

He will gain it again in the future when this kick wears off.

If your BMI is above 25, might not be a good idea to start your day with a 600 calorie large caramel frappucino from Starbucks and 2 sausage biscuits from McDonalds

that whole BMI scale needs to be re-written.

I was at 25.1 about 2 months ago on my last Doctor's visit.
and I am NOT a big person at all.

Agreed. But I have more empathy for those ppl. They can at least turn themselves in the bed.

I herniated 2 discs in my lower back 2 years ago during covid turning a fat frick who couldn’t help turn himself.

ETA: he weighed 650 lbs

If you grew up in front of a TV and your parents had bad habits then you don't have a reference point to know how bad you actually feel because you think breathing heavy, sweating constantly, and feeling crappy all the time are normal.
