Men are not as insecure by nature

Does any man really go around calling women fat to their faces such that they need a movement?

Because men are not judged on their appearance or their weight as much as women are judged on their appearance and their weight.

1. Physical attractiveness matters MUCH more to men than women. And I know this is a wild concept, but biology has hardwired men to prefer hot women vs. those who look like #63 for the Cleveland Browns

2. As Chris Rock said, women need food, water and COMPLEMENTS. Men don't need constant positive affirmation. Women do.

Combine the two realties with today's overwhelming desire to virtue signal at all costs and you now get the complete (and dangerous) farce of "healthy at any weight". We want to make sure fat women get the positive affirmation they aren't getting from men...because most men don't find them attractive.

Women may not like it, but we men are pretty shallow creatures. Your looks get you in the door and there is a sliding scale of how much crazy a man will deal with relative to physical attractiveness

Bc these beautiful, enormous women that don’t care what people think don’t deserve to not think other people find them beautiful.

Because it furthers the sham that is "unrealistic beauty standards" for women

Those graphs both show messaging peaks slightly beyond the perceived “average” attractiveness just women rate the me lower, right?

Not exactly sure about the thick lines, but the dotted lines show the percentage of the opposite sex that fit into each rating. I think one takeaway from the thick lines is that women will message men that they arent super attracted to whereas men will only message the hot ones. Still the attractiveness rating is crazy. Over 30% of men were rated a 1 out of 5. Also it looks like roughly 15% of men were rated a 3 or higher

There is some new commercial on with a fat hairy POS neckbeard dude dancing in the shower on it. That was the only ad I have seen that included men in that movement. Can't even remember what product it was for.

For women, appearance is vital, it decides who you can date, and who you can marry. So being overweight, takes an emotional toll.

For men, appearance is less important, you can be a bit if a slob, and still marry well. As a result, men are less concerned with their own appearance.

Haven't shaved in a month.

Currently wearing dad pants. Moccasins. And a polo.

Waitress at lunch sitting next to me at the bar got real flirty when my wallet was out to pay.

Tells you everything you need to know about women.

The subtle sexism of low expectations: “Men are strong and resilient enough to be able to handle fat shaming. But women are emotionally weak and fragile, so we must redefine our definition of what a beautiful woman looks like in order to protect them from the world.”

It would make more sense to use men in an image of thin wallet acceptance.

Fat men never learn “self-acceptance.” Instead they channel their frustrations into other things like comedy

I'm all for fat shaming all people into becoming more healthy and could stand to lose 10 lbs myself. But using Chris Farley as an example kind of misses the mark considering he channeled his feelings and fat guilt into a serious drug addiction which ultimately killed him.

A dad bod to me is someone in the overweight BMI category who could stand to lose 20 lbs. I absolutely fit this description right now too.

In this category as well. Have never been overweight in my entire life . Have always stayed in the 175 to 185 weight range. BMI says im overweight though

Well how tall are you? You must be no taller than 5'10" I'd imagine.

At 5'11", 173 right now my BMI is 24.1... 25 is considered overweight. I want to lose about 10-15 lbs myself right now honestly. Want to be 160. I'm not really a gym goer but I'll do push ups, sit ups, squats in my apartment then walk for an hour or so throughout a close by neighborhood. I also just try to limit my caloric intake daily to 1500 tops.
