I know a chick with two masters degrees and she sucks at picking men.
She apparently sucks at picking a career too since the first master's didn't work out.

Educated women generally can support themselves when the inevitable divorce occurs
Or marry well educated men whom they take to the cleaners (or at lest get better child support) in the divorce?

Yeah but I’d bet they’re smart enough not to end a sentence with a preposition.

This is why well-educated men marry their equal (in terms of $$$). She may not be an OT10, but an OT7.5 and makes good cash is perfect imo.

That method of social climbing probably isn't high on the IQ scale. It's far too dependent.

Low IQ people make poor decisions.
This is why they are more likely to be poor, fat, uneducated, and commit crime.
This isn't hard to understand.

From what I've seen, that rarely happens. Of course I do live in Louisiana
I guess I was really thinking more in terms of people who start their relationships in college then marry shortly after graduation.
I've also seen a lot of highly paid professional men married to well educated lower paid women (i.e. teachers). Though, honestly, I also usually see those marriages lasting or at least ending in a more amicable manner.

It is not ideal, no doubt, but I do think the end is not the original intent, just a benefit of picking a well educated spouse.
BTW: In case I haven't said so previously, thanks for posting the perfect sig line for me to steal.

I left LA for Tejas 10 years ago. Best decision ever.
I said what I said because of personal experience.
Ms 50 does well for herself and makes great money. Crazy green eyes and tigobitties. I consider myself lucky every day. Even when she does act batshit crazy. We both understand that together we can do a lot of things and have a great life. So those days where we're not that fond of each other we remember this

Check that grammar snobbishness smartypants.......
Grammar snobs love to tell anyone who will listen: You should NEVER end a sentence with a preposition! Luckily for those poor, persecuted prepositions, that just isn’t true. Here are a few preposition guidelines:
Don’t end a sentence with a preposition
1 In formal writing
Which journal was your article published in? (Casual)
In which journal was your article published? (Formal)
It’s not an error to end a sentence with a preposition, but it is a little less formal. In emails, text messages, and notes to friends, it’s perfectly fine. But if you’re writing a research paper or submitting a business proposal and you want to sound very formal, avoid ending sentences with prepositions.
2 If something is missing
He walked down the street at a brisk pace, with his waistcoat buttoned against the cold and a jaunty top hat perched atop.
The preposition atop is missing an object all together. Let’s try that again:
He walked down the street at a brisk pace, with his waistcoat buttoned against the cold and a jaunty top hat perched atop his stately head.
It’s ok to end a sentence with a preposition
1 In informal writing or conversation
To whom should I give a high five?
Who should I give a high five to?
Unless you’re a time traveler from another era, you’ll probably use the second sentence when speaking. Informal language is generally accepted in conversation and will likely allow your conversation to flow more smoothly since your friends won’t be distracted by your perfectly precise sentence construction.
2 If the preposition is part of an informal phrase
Five excited puppies are almost too many to put up with.
Also correct:
A good plate of spaghetti should not be so hard to come by.
Both ‘put up with’ and ‘hard to come by’ are commonly accepted informal phrases, and it’s OK to end sentences with them. Note, however, that you should avoid these phrases in formal writing.

Why are less educated people bad at decision making? Is that really a question?
Posted on 8/2/18 at 10:09 am to Slippy
Less educated probably stems from shitty and likely divorced parents so they had no model of marriage or parenthood upon which to base their life.
Plus daddy issues turned them into skanks.

Lack of confidence in a quality man staying with them. Deep down they know something is undesirable about them and they'd rather go with someone they are more confident will stick around.
Men seem more likely to date women at their socioeconomic level or just slightly lower, and women seem more likely to date someone much lower.

Cognitive ability matters more than salary. We typically associate salary with intellectual ability but it’s not a perfect correlation. High-IQ people tend to pair, marry, and reproduce creating high-IQ children.
And, as society progresses, the gap between the intellectual elite and the lower classes widens. It’s an interesting phenomenon.

Most, in my opinion. Particularly when families are involved and you have stay at home moms.
Spousal income isn't at the top of most men's list of desires for a mate.
