re: Why are gay men so depraved?

The harsh truth is that I think it's endemic to western gay culture at this point. I don't mean gay people all do this, etc.

But when you think about how US gay culture arose, it was underground, seedy, sex clubs, etc. Part of that, gross as it is, is understandable. You push a community into "hiding" and they become very insular and niche that probably drives some extremism.

I think that's how you got to all the weird stuff, the prevalence of underage stuff, etc. At this point, there isn't the same need, but it's engrained in the culture. Hence pride parades being billed as open and welcome to all, including families, provided you're ok watching a mostly naked older man leading around a very absurdly walking, drugged-out looking younger man on a leash.

Anecdotal, of course, but I've talked to various gay dudes over the years who've said similar. Interestingly, I know of a couple who started out trying to be as traditional as they could be (ie, house in the burbs with a dog and neighborhood friends and eschewing outspoken LGBT advocacy) - but over time, likely from surrounding themselves from the broader gay community, that changed.

It’s so awful that gay couples take on the burden of society by adopting unwanted children, often born to drug addicts and wayward moms, raise them, and make them productive people.

It would be so much better if we had more poor people who don't want kids neglecting these kids and releasing into society people with no work ethic or value for productivity.
