Little Chinatown in Kenner (not nearly as good as it used to be) has been open for dine-in for a while.
Young’s on Williams was only takeout a few months ago.

People are shifting away from dining in for a causal, low cost meal it appears.

I'm sure they ran the numbers and realized their profit margins were superior in a take out model.

The only decent place up here is boarded up with just a little mail slot to pay and take your food.

The owners of my favorite local Chinese restaurant started copping attitude after reopening in summer of 2020. They used to warn and engaging but not anymore. I said frick it and started patronizing the Thai and Viet places.

Because they're probably still making bank and don't have to deal with disgusting fatty round eyes in their establishment.

You're better off for it. Thai and Vietnamese food tastes better and is better for you anyway.

The Chinese buffet here never closed, even during lockdown when restaurants could only be takeout.

They had the buffet and would go make your plate for takeout but if you wanted to go get it yourself and sit down and eat they didn’t give a shite

Talking to this guy that owns some Wendy’s a while back
He told he was making more money,
Less headaches with drive through only.

Move over sonic is what I thought... they’re on to you now.

It sounds like this is a great opportunity for you to get into the sit down Chinese restaurant business.

I was coming to post this. That is our destination Chinese place, since we live off of Clearview and Airline. Still order from Little Chinese Kitchen on David Drive, as well.

They are being great Americans by protecting their customers from the Jhina Virus/Flu/Cold/Sniffle.

What's wrong with you? Want us all to die or something?
